With an odd number of teams in both our Tuesday Night and Thursday night leagues, there will be one team with a BYE each week. If you do not see your team scheduled for a game it is because your team has the BYE that week.

Spring League! Fantabulous!
Greens are getting greener, snow is getting meltier, and animals are getting hornier.
Which can only mean that Spring has Sprang, and that Ultimate is just around the corner.
April 12th is the first day of Tuesday Competitive;
and the next week, April 21st is the beginning of Thursday Recreational.
We have our league set up as a 10 week league (9 for Rec), followed by a weekend playoffs.
Playoffs for Spring fall on the weekend of June 18th/19th,
Competitive running Saturday the 18th, Recreational on Sunday the 19th.
There will be a similar format for Summer league.
Open! Now! Registration! Ya heard?!
Head over to Kelowna Ultimate to register online. Paypal is open to captains for team registration.
The website boasts an upgraded registration process, and we want all players on a team registered.
This will be reinforced. Unregistered players will NOT be allowed to play.
If you play a game with unregistered players, you are playing with uninsured players.
And risk losing the right to play in our league.
Please, Captains, stress the importance of individual registration.
Tuesday, April 5th, 6pm @ Kelsey's will be our League Registration Night.
KUPS will be providing some foodstuffs/pitchers, and a captain/representative of each team
is required to pick up the Captain's Package, being fondled into existence by Keya Morasse,
our loyal social coordinator. And what a package! So big and overwhelming.. with information... and junk.
Pay me, suckahs! And voluntarily!
The league fees have not risen, but you will notice each team has to pay $650.
The extra $100 is the volunteer deposit. Each team will be providing a volunteer for Sunflicker
(player, relative, friend, etc: doesn't matter who, as long as they show),
and will get their money back upon services provided.
We ask for a minimal commitment (2-4 hours, on the weekend of May 7-8), and any
monies collected from no-shows will go towards a volunteer party or hired assistance.
That said, we will not turn down free volunteers.
Sunflicker is a big tournament, run on hard work, kindness, kittens and rainbows.
And if you want to help, email sunflicker@kelownaultimate.com
Tiered League is a project in practice.
We will be dividing the Rec League and Comp League into two divisions each,
with movement between them, and games against divisional opponents.
More will be explained at Registration Night. Demand answers from Brad Perrault and Jarrett Smeltzer.
Here are the dates for the 2011 spring league.
