Emphasis on fun and spirited play, developing skills and meeting new people. This league is meant for players of all skill levels! This is the perfect spot to start if you are completely new to the league. The main focus of this league is to have fun and experience the spirit of the game.
What is Spirit
Ultimate relies upon a spirit of sportsmanship which places the responsibility for fair play on the player. Highly competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of mutual respect among fellow players, adherence to the rules of the game, or the basic joy of play and having fun on the field. Such actions as taunting of opposing players, dangerous aggression, belligerent intimidation, intentional fouling, arguing over another player’s call, or other “win-at-all-costs” behavior are counter to the spirit of the game and must be avoided by all players. Discussion over another players call must be conducted in a respectful manner without anger or argument, realizing that other people may see things differently from you. Infractions on the spirit of the game will not be tolerated in this league and players showing continual disrespect for this will be removed from the league. We want all to have fun and enjoy there time with Ultimate.
