Casual Wednesday Night – Starts July 15, 2009



Ready to learn the basics of Ultimate? Looking for a FUN only league? Welcome to Wednesday night! A night to experience the fun and spirit of the game of Ultimate. All players are welcome in this league as long as they know how to have fun and play spirited ultimate. We suggest that teams who have played a few years together should start moving to Tuesday nights, this leagues for starting new teams with your friends that haven’t played much before. Wednesday will be what you are used to seeing except we’re hoping to make it bigger! Wednesday will be a 10 to 14 team league with straight up play (no ladders). For more information on Wednesday Night league contact your league coordinators through the contact option on the website. League format is 4 : 3 (m : w).

To Register: Captains can begin registering their Wednesday teams online on June 19, 2009 (payment through Paypal only). There will be no cash/cheque payment until clinic night on July 7. Teams will be registered on a first come first serve basis. To be registered each team must have submitted a full roster on the website and via email to the league coordinators and make full payment. If these two things are not provided, your team will not be registered or scheduled for the season. Partial payments, deposits, ‘I’ll get you on the first game night’ and others will not be accepted by the league.

Online registration for Wednesday night will close on July 6, 2009. The in person registration of teams and people will occur at clinic night on July 7 (location TBD). This is your chance to register and pay in person (cash/cheque) for Wednesday night. Following July 7, 2009 registration will be closed for Wednesday Night league and a schedule will be made up. Those teams not registered/paid by July 7, 2009 will not be scheduled for the season.

Please note: All individuals registering for the league must register under a team name or under the “Wednesday Night Singles”.

Cost per team: $550;

Cost per individual: Individuals without teams can sign up online on our ‘Wednesday Night Singles List’ and a home will be found for you. Cost $40 for the season.

Game Times: 6pm until finished or other agreed upon end time. 7pm on Parkinson fields.

Game Dates: July 15 to September 16.
