The Kelowna Ultimate Players Society exists to promote, organize and support top quality, spirited Ultimate and to assist the development of the sport of Ultimate and Ultimate players in the Kelowna area. Ultimate is essentially 'Frisbee Football' played on a soccer size field, combining fancy throws, nimble defense, strategic offense, a whole lot of running, and a special 'spirit of the game' code that ensures mutual respect between opposing players. ( a self-governing, non-contact sport that combines speed, grace and outstanding aerial passing skills. It focuses on sportsmanship, fairness, respect for players fun and the spirit of the game. )
